Don't ask.

I had a near miss this morning. My tail wheel is loose and was'nt lined up right, I failed to keep it centered in the runway and thought I would be up before I hit the grass, not quite. The elevator hooked a bunch of clover and jamed about 25 deg up. I looped it then cut the throttle then when I gave it throttle it started to loop again, I rolled level and figured out with throttle I could keep it in a harrier, I managed to circle and see the clover, I worked the elev but it would'nt fall out. Fortunately I've gotten pretty good at harrier and other manuvers (not anywhere close to you guy's) so I was able to land with no damage. I need to mow the sides of the runway.

Bobby,

Wow - that sounds like a really close call. Good job keeping a level head and thinking it through!

Scorpion 4020-8 or MotrolFly 3625-800 are good choices IMO.

Thanks BB! You run a 14X7 or 15X8 on that? 6-8 min flight times?

14x7 for 7-8 minutes. Lots of places to buy both, but if you strike out we have them.

Do you think the Scorpion SII-3026-710 would suite this plane? Seems a close match to the GR-45.
