His wife has that key chain. I'm going to melt that freaking thing down Maybe I can come up with something a little more manly that will satisfy the masses...

FWIW, I hear that Tyler plays extensively with Vaseline and spray paint. Run with it.

Rudder

Doesn't get much easier than this. The rudder has the three CA hinges pre-glued into the rudder itself. Just insert rudder into vertical stab, check alignment and hinge gap... add thin CA.

And for those who like a little overkill, I like to seal all of my hinge gaps using .5" blenderm tape. Blenderm is very forgiving and easy to use. Now can I prove it makes a noticeable difference in performance? Probably not. But one thing I know is hinge gap sealing is used in different variations and applications on full scale aircraft, so it sure can't hurt.

Tail Wheel

I am a big fan of the tail wheel assembly included with the SC. It's very durable and provides very positive steering. And not to mention very easy to install.

Note: "Tiller" is pre-installed at the factory. Nice touch!

Yup, played with it all afternoon....this is what I came up with....

Little bit more touch up work and a glossy clear coat to do.

BTW Jeff - great thread, build looks great. Hopefully the weather holds out so you can fly it tomorrow. If it's not raining, I'll be down there about 8am.
