Free Plans for 60" ish plane

Anyone know of free plans for a 60"ish high wing with semi-symmetrical airfoil?

Looking for something quick and easy to build that I can print myself since I will have a plotter available this week.

Foam or wood

You dont say what material you will build with, but for plans i would look in this section.

Ah, you are correct.

Traditional balsa, not foam.

Try going to www.flyelectric.ukgateway.net where David Theunissen does a great free plan for "Bubbles" a 60" span suitable for aerobatics and easy to fly. All instructions are also downloadable.

Good suggestion for a good plane. Bubbles is 54" and I have two printed copies of the plan.

Looking for something a smidgen bigger.

Use google to get you to plan listings on the internet. There are a number of them that are free.

HL has Telemaster .40 plans (60") for under $20, and you don't have to do anything but order.

Is the Telemaster a flat bottom or semi symmetrical?

I'm not sure. It's a flat bottom, and semi means half, so I guess it could be both, since it's half of a symmetrical airfoil.
Maybe an airfoil wizard could help out here.

mt, Just as a matter of interest, why not scale up? Or are you looking for a different style design.

Fair question. The Bubbles is a great plane and I like it, but there are a few things that make it less desirable to scratch building for me.

Mainly the need for ribs and half ribs in the wing, just way too much cutting for my taste. Would prefer something with as few parts as possible.
