I've never flown it so I really can't comment on the flight characteristics.

2S Lipo should work...2100mah (it does need ballast to fly correctly).

Yes, an old-school speed 370 brushed motor is currently installed, obviously upgradable to brushless.

Here is some additional info. Note that the short flight times are due to the use of a 600mah NiCd pack...obviously with today's Lipo technology, the flight times will be MUCH longer.

Thanks for looking!

I understand this is old, but has the two servos worked for the setup? did it fly well or is 1servo better?

Radio used ?

Hi, I got two of these, the Sky Parachute brand on 40.680mhz, not the Sky Surfer... not sure if there's any difference between brands.
I can see these models advertised online as 3 channels while there's only 2 functions, rudder and motor control...
Is there a version with actual 3 functions ? What's the third channel for ? pitch control ?? Do these come with 2 servos in that case ?
Oddly enough I also got a spare identical transmitter on 27.145mhz I have no idea where it came from that actually has 3 channels (I took it apart to check, there's throttle on the left stick, rudder and elevator on the right one)... One more enigma to solve as to whether there's a 3 channel Sky Surfer or it's just an advertising trick, if anyone can help with an answer...
Thanks, TJ.
