You are so correct. What a tragedy. One question comes up, though. Where was the childs' parents when this happened? Another example of poor parenting.

How on earth is a nutcase on a flying leafblower descending into a crowd any sort of indication of the parenting skills of the parents of a random child who happens to be in the way?

For all you know, the child's parents were stood ten feet away, or two feet away, or were also hit.

Six people were injured, three adults and three children.

Where on earth were the great great grandparents, whilst all this was happening?? Just another example of poor great-great-grand-parenting?

Almost as stupid as a radio promotion some years ago. A radio station in Cincinnati dropped turkeys out of a helicopter. I believe the call letters were WKRP.

I always watch my babies when there are questionable things happening. I have all girls and they walk into closed doors if you don't watch them closely. I think women in general have a different situational awareness detector than men do. e.g. believing brakes work regardless of the situation or conditions

Exactly - now we just heard that a two year old boy was run over by a train here - who do you blame - careless parents - adventurous child - dangerous rail crossing - the train driver - it goes on ?

Folks that leap to conclusions before availing themselves of the facts abound - guess we all do it though!
