RCRCM Colour Scheme Poll

Hi Lads- let me try again...

OK,

All the designs listed above are in order of apperance on the thread and listed from right to left where multiple designs were posted.

Colour variations on a single theme are treated as one design.

I'm sure you will appreciate that it was quite the labour of love to list all these wonderful attempts!

Everyone can have 3 votes - including 1vote for yourself if you wish.

Fantastic job, Guys and may the best designs win!

James

If I'm going to spend over $1K on a ship, I prefer a simple pattern I can orient quickly with my feeble eyes. In the end, its a mix of practicality and aesthetics. I voted for:

- Pierre Rondel 1 and 2 (personally would be very happy with F3F stripes on bottoms).

- Thumbhead A (darker color on top tips might help with visibility)

Not that its important, but I've always liked schemes like this Freestyler and this Ascot:

http://www.f3x.com/htdocs/Aspirin/Freestyler3.htm

http://www.soaringusa.com/products/p...ategory_id=291

But couldn't very well enter by just providing links, could I? Good luck to all the contestants!

Does this poll need a temporary sticky so it appears at the top until the voting finishes?

well done James for figuring out a proper poll thread

and to echo what someone else said on the other thread - you have to make your 3 choices in 1 voting "session" - you can't go back to add/modify your votes later.

and in case you need to refer back to the original thread to choose the schemes (quite likely!) - its here:

That an easier way of doing it, its good as well because I have now been able to give votes to my other choices as well

Though I would still defo buy JJs Checkers design first place in my eyes, absolutely stunning!!

Any chance of making this a sticky until the end of the competition as I'm sure a lot of RCG infrequent visitors are missing it?

I suppose votes are a bit like buses - you wait for ages with none then loads appear all of a sudden I checked about an hour ago and I was in the lead and now there is a big gap between me and first - still a few days to go though so fingers crossed . I mentioned making it a sticky in an earlier post - who does this as skirmish also said it would be good to keep it up the top.

I dont think I hear any fat ladies singing yet JJ...

Looks like a three horse race with you Pierre and Dave in the lead...but who will win the top spot?

Frankly I was surprised to see the sudden massive change...could it be that a few phone calls and emails have called in a few favours?

We will never know...But I do know what I'd do...

30ish votes on the same design - all at once?
