That's going to provoke some interesting discussion, I'll wager.
Lol...while a wing that doesn't stall is a bit of a stretch...I know what he is trying to say. My Funtana X 'doesn't have a stall'. Of course it does...but when I go into a power off elevator...with full up deflection it won't drop a wing...it will just gently float to the ground.

What? A harrier is stalled, and I bet it harriers just fine. Did you mean to say that it won't snap roll well? A large majority of 3D maneuvers are stalled. Your comment just doesn't make sense to me (as Ben knew it wouldn't)...

It's stalled, it just stalls both wings when commanded to....like any good 3d plane...

Okay okay guys...relax.

I think what he is trying to say is that it doesn't exhibit a bad stall characteristic. Instead of a wing dropping off, or nose dropping down...it simply just 'falls'.

Although you'll probably both find some discrepancy in that statement too

Let me clarify my intended comment. The stall characteristics are such that it is difficult to do good blenders, snap rolls, waterfalls, ect... It can do these some what but not like Ben's 3DHobbyShop planes. It is just not what this Yak is good at. What it is good at is floaty maneuvers without getting you into trouble.
I love how it flies but I do not want someone to think it will do things that it cannot.

PS I have added a few more build steps.

Actually it is a single piece at about 45 degrees that is glue on the top and bottom. No twist at all. And yes there is another piece on the opposite side. Makes for a strong but light fix.

Why would I find a discrepancy in that? That sounds perfect to me. (it is, however, completely different from what was originally stated) - glad that we're all in agreement.

Finished her this morning. It is a little breezy but I got her trimmed out. She flys just like the prototype. More video comming soon.

The build log is done and is contained in posts 1 - 5.
