Nice! I would like to get into DLG one day, maybe when I retire. Have too many things going on in RC now as it is.
May I suggest a neck strap for your radio. It makes things a lot easier.

When I first started (not saying you just started) I didn't think I would ever need one. They were hand launched planes but they had a lot of lift so I had plenty of time to get my hands on the sticks. Then I got more aerobatic planes and it was a whole different story. I finally got a neck strap and I never fly without it now

Ive been flying for lots of years, (turbine jets, giant 3D, helicopters), just been trying to wean myself off the crutches. I still clip in on my big birds or jets, but on cheap stuff like this I just go for it. haha. I need to remember one for this thing though, switching hands would be alot easier!

Here you can see the strap from my neck before doing a 3D Demo at a full scale fly in years ago with my 3.3m Comp Arf Yak, when I was sponsored by Composite-ARF and Desert Aircraft.

I admire the relaxed and nearly effortless way you launch.

That crash couldve been way worse, he was lucky. We had a fly in too. A 50cc class airplane had an esc fail. Caught half the plane on fire. Airframe is a total loss. Worst part is it was a borrowed plane there were alot of crashes on saturday, 2 50cc class 3d airplanes crashed, 3 giant scale warbirds crashed, 2 .60ish sized balsa planes went in, and several foamies bit the dust.

Yeah, it certainly left a mark on the bean feild luckily the crops hadnt dried out yet, or we wouldve had a much larger fire on our hands. Also it was lucky the lipos (2 6s 6000mah) didnt catch fire
