Century Picco Piezo Gyro (smallest in the world) is that really true?

Hello All.

I have a question.

How well does the Century Picco Piezo Gyro work?

I * would like to use it in a Hybrd Heli project (Close to Piccolo Pro)
in setup...*

Is it glichy?
Hard to get trimmed in...

Or is it pretty well behaved.
Reliable easy to get tail to stay were you put it?

Or should I get the GY240 and do the mod to lighten it.

Thanks for ANY input on this question.

Hello James,

The Century Pico gyro is a good single rate non heading hold gyro. But you cannot compare it with the Futaba GY240. It depends how critical it is for you the way the tail behaves. If money is not the point then go for the GY240.

Second the recommendation..........get the Futaba GY-240 and lighten it and you'll never look back.

GY-240 Rocks!

I started using the GWS PG-03 when I first started, ended up with them in all my helis. I was happy until I was setting up another PRO. I ended up going with a GY-240 this time just to see what the hype was about. Since then, I'm on a mission to replace all my GWS gyros with the GY-240! It holds much better in standard mode and is even a better treat in HH mode. It's nice not to have to feed in tail control as the pack runs down.

I didn't even lighten mine, the PRO doesn't seem to mind the extra weight.
