you just have o hold a touch of down elev when inverted.nothing drastic. Most folk I think will like that setup anyhow.I believe it is how alot of people set theirs up to stay "connected"with their model while inverted anyhow.i run push pull rudder,6s5000 and put the pack on the wing tube in the tray.also run a 2s1100 life pack on the back of the wing tube.Probly could move that around a little if wanted to move cg back some more, but she flys on rails like that and pull out is nuts with that motor.

I have a 2S 1100mah LiFe pack on the way. Any pointers? I'm new to these kind of receiver packs.

just make sure to charge it as an li-fe!
And watch how many mah you put back in so that you can accurately gauge how depeleted it was.

Periodically cycle the battery to know how well it's doing. I had several that after 2-3 years of use would only hold about 200 mah of charge. Flew fine for 2-3 flights. Fortunately I never lost a plane to one, but I was likely very close several times! Now I cycle them about every 6 months just to be safe, I had no idea that the ones I had been using were no longer holding charges!

2 to 3 years? Wow, that's really good. What should a full charge read on a volt meter to main battery leads? What's dead look like as far as total V?

That's why you need the Aurora 9's voltage display.

Am I wrong ?

A123'S have a flat discharge curve so reading the voltage won't tell you how much you have left.

I'm not sure how much it would help with a LiFe pack. That have a very flat discharge curve all the way up until they tank.
