I know it will get taken care of, just stinks to bethisclose to flying the plane.

I did get a few pm's begging for carnage so I'll put up two interior shots. FWIW, whatever was dropped on it dented all three boxes and busted the CF reinforcements.

Nice thing about the size of the plane is it's easy to get a camera inside

It is hard to tell from pictures but it does not look to bad,

One of my Edges came through like that and I just went ahead and fixed it instead of waiting for parts.

Well, don't they say "Impatience is a Virtue"

That's funny, as I complained on the 55's. Ben said he would take care of short cables and yahoo.

I finally gave up on the idea and used the bolts with the blind nuts. Time consuming doing this, as you have to take your time if you want all 5 to line up. Got my motor, canopy etc. all set and everything fits perfect and lines up nicely. Little work on the dowels but not much. Had to shim the stab. Must have used 1 1/2 ozs. of ca going over all. Wing tubes fit perfect which can sometime be a pain. Moving right along

Wondering what size pilot figure this thing will take.

Yeah, if I was a better builder/restorer I might attempt it, however I'm just as likely to make it worse.

Hopefully it won't be too long to wait.

That sucks ron. I hope you get your replacement parts ASAP so you can fly this thing.

I'm curious, what are the normal steps taken at this point? Does Ben send you a new fuse, and get reimbursed for the cost by the parcel service?

Ron - Pls. write me an email to Ben@3dhobbyshop.com and let me know exactly what needs to be replaced and we'll ship it out on Monday.

cwojcik - We replace the broken parts first, get the customer flying, and then deal with UPS afterwards.
