I got 4 flights on my Slick this morning. It is really starting to feel good now that I have the cg where I want it and my mixes set.

They were mostly pattern flights, still trying to get used to the big scale ailerons.

I had more fun this morning with my Slick and Osiris than I have had since summer. It was a blast.

Use the 4S Luke

For me the 'trick' to using the internal BEC is you must be sure your servos do not try to move your control surfaces beyond their limits. Analog servos tend to be quiet unless bound in this way and so are easy to set up by ear. Digital servos 'growl' or whine all the time so you cannot use the ear method. You can use a Wattmeter or carefully observe the pushrod, structure for shape change due to the servo trying to force the surface farther than it can mechanically go. After the first hard flight on my 72" Slick I noticedthe receiver light flashing indicating I had low Voltage during the flight. I reduced the elevator end points a little (I suspected it was binding) and it never happened again.

I'm using these:

Awesome power, high charge rates, longer flight times.

But they're on backorder right now.

Hey Marco stick with the Turnigy 5000 30c like the ones I bought from you, I have almost 50 cycles on the two I got from you in my 72 Extra and it pulls hard.
