Wanted to comment on the CF landing gear. Its AWSOME! I was practicing harrier landing in some gusty winds yesterday and I let the plane get away from me about two feet off the deck (let off the power). Wind let up and I pancaked it on the landing gear. Nothing happened, not even a crack. I was very surprised how well the plane handeled the impact.

I had this happen with other CF gear before and it was splintered. 3DHS has the best stuff on the planet.

I did my 10S experiment on the 70" Slick on today.

The setup is a Scorpion 4035-250 on 10S with a 19x10 Turnigy Light Electric prop.

The same setup on 8S weighs 9lbs 6oz.

The lightest 10S setup (2650 mah 30C) is 9lbs 4 oz.
10s 3000mah 30C is 9lbs 9oz
The heaviest was 10S 4000 mah 20C at 9lbs 14oz.

Frankly, I couldn't feel the weight difference at all between all of the setups. It has boatloads of power ~2300 watts... plenty of control in hovers etc.... hits 70 - 75 mph and it seems to pull as hard when my timer tells me it is time to land as when I took off.

Putting it on 10S puts the motor into its sweet spot. It is getting around 86% efficiency.

It is a keeper.
