rcbirk21,

Do you have the new Reaper motor in the plane in the pictures that were taken yesterday? If so, some pics of the installation and comments on the performance might be nice.

Wanted to comment on the CF landing gear. Its AWSOME! I was practicing harrier landing in some gusty winds yesterday and I let the plane get away from me about two feet off the deck (let off the power). Wind let up and I pancaked it on the landing gear. Nothing happened, not even a crack. I was very surprised how well the plane handeled the impact.

I had this happen with other CF gear before and it was splintered. 3DHS has the best stuff on the planet.

I did my 10S experiment on the 70" Slick on today.

The setup is a Scorpion 4035-250 on 10S with a 19x10 Turnigy Light Electric prop.

The same setup on 8S weighs 9lbs 6oz.

The lightest 10S setup (2650 mah 30C) is 9lbs 4 oz.
10s 3000mah 30C is 9lbs 9oz
The heaviest was 10S 4000 mah 20C at 9lbs 14oz.

Frankly, I couldn't feel the weight difference at all between all of the setups. It has boatloads of power ~2300 watts... plenty of control in hovers etc.... hits 70 - 75 mph and it seems to pull as hard when my timer tells me it is time to land as when I took off.

Putting it on 10S puts the motor into its sweet spot. It is getting around 86% efficiency.

It is a keeper.
