Put 15 flights on the 71 slick with Steve's braces. Well after non stop full throttle blenders, full throttle pop tops, and full throttle tumbles it held up and is still rock solid. I tried to break it and couldn't. Very happy to have this issue fixed.

6s5300 gets me about 6:30 on a Motrolfly 4330 making about 2300-2500 watts.

I was only getting 5 minutes with 4330 435 with 19x8 xoar using 6s 5300s

Wow. Pretty short flight times. Still trying to find that elusive 50cc gasser, but having difficulty so thinking of a 71 Slick again.

I had a 71 on 8s, and it was fun. But charging two packs for one flight was kind of a drag.

I like my 8s setup a lot. But you are right. I've got 8 4s 4000's and that gives me four flights. Kind-of a bummer when I'm using to getting in 8 flights on my ~60" planes.

I still need to find a good way to charge my 4s batteries at the field. I used to use a deep cyle marine battery but I killed it by charging my 4s batteries at higher amps.

yes. I'm really thinking gas now for 30cc and above. Still trying to find that elusive deal on a pre owned.

It will come... but you'll just have to be very patient!

I think I've decided the opposite of you - I prefer electric power even if it sucks a little to use two batteries at a time on my 71" Slick. The hassle of gas just isn't worth it to me but that's mainly because I don't know squat about gas engines and I don't have a burning desire to learn... I just want to fly.
