I would like to try a plane with the Hacker on it and 20x10 to compare to the motrofly. Maybe we can fly this weekend if the weather cooperates(doesn't look good though)

I bet you would be close to my 216kv on 12s but double the amps.
Here's what I got with the 19X8 PJN:
Weight 54g
Peak: 8330 RPM, 2855 watts, 63.8 amps, 44.8 volts
Settled in: 8124 RPM, 2518 watts, 57.8 amps, 43.5 volts

I think that would be the biggest prop you would want to use with that setup in CA.

There is a GOD!! So I called goflyhighrc (Doug) and told him I was ready to throw my 71 Slick in a ditch because I had(Thought) tried everything you can think..Bowman Rings,Reeds, 3 Gas Tanks, New Carb, New Ignition, Different Kill Switch and it was still dieing at lower RPMS when I would flip it from inverted to normal. So he told me to not throw it in the ditch but to throw it in his YARD! LOL(SO I DID!!!) Less then 24 HRS later I get a text saying "ITS FIXED" He took the ignition and flipped it 180 Degrees and it solved the issue! We are not sure why, but it did! I am more then happy and sometimes it shows it is nice to have friends that can look at your plane with a fresh set of eyes!!! I would say I owe him Something Thanks again Doug!

Based on this conclusion...it's now going to die in the upright position.

But whatever works....what's that commercial on TV. "it isn't wierd if it works."

I building a 71 slick for a friend of mine and man the wing tube is twice as thick as mine. I don't foresee there being a wing tube breaking issue, that's for sure. Wow what difference. And as you all know the fit and finish of it is perfect. I just love building a plane that goes together with out having to mod or tweak anything.

My 74 had the thicker tube when I bought it after they first came out in 2011.
