sorry, no, but I can tell you that they are very fast, and very strong.... As noted, I have them in my 89" Slick, and also in my 74" Edge....and they really seem to make a difference over the HS-985's in my 71" Slick....

Totally... my flying partner has the 985s and there is night and day difference with my 7954s. We compared them side by side and my roll rate is twice his at high speed.

I run my 7954s on 8.0v regulated are they acceptable at that voltage?
I would guess so, as the "freshly charged" voltage of a 2S pack is around 8.2 volts..

Just catching up on the days posts.

Michael, that is depressing to see. It really sucks especially if it was no fault of your own. And just after just losing the 57" Extra too.

Hopefully when you look at them in a day or two you will be able to repair them both and get them back in the air soon. I know what a great time you were having flying them both around.

My setup is A60-6XS on 6S-30C, CC 100ICE, and BEC Pro. 20x10XOAR.
From the logged data 104 amps peak, 2400+ watts peak. After 6 min of moderate flight pumped in around 2600mah back into battery.

ESC was more than warm however motor was quite hot (I have opening at the bottom of fuse for air out). Not much hovering. I think I'm pulling too much amps. I'd like amps to be <=100 at wot. I don't think this setup will survive summers in India.
How good 20x8 APC or XOAR will be on this in terms of pulling lesser amps so that I'm easy on motor and ESC?
Will 20x10 APC draw lesser amps than XOAR? I have few spare APCs.
I'm very happy with the plane... need some more flight time

Thanks.
Any opinion on 20x8 APC on A60-6XS? Also, the recommended switching Frequency for motor is 8kHz, currently my ESC switching is set to "outrunner". Will changing this help in lower amp draw?
Thanks.

How about, the idle needle is too rich and when the plane is inverted the carb or crank case loads up? When you go upright the fuel dumps in and floods the engine.

i cant remember where i saw it, but i do recall seeing the same specs for the 7954SH for the 7955TG on 7.4v. Like I said, basically the same servo except for the gear train, the titanium in the 7955TG being fantastic and ive never had a problem in the over dozen 7955's i have owned

In a 3D plane the motorspeed is changing all the time. APCe is slightly heavy and weak so not the best option for that. They are better for pattern planes.
Wooden Xoar 20x10 or 21x10 seem to be the prop. most people use with the A60-6XS on 6s lipo.

Would the Hacker A50-12L be ok on 8S?

How much performance would I be loosing over the Morolfly?

Thanks!

Not a very efficient motor on 8s, better for the 6s guys. Motrofly has much better 8s options with significantly more power and longer flight times..

Sounds like I need a Motrofly...

Anyone happen to have one they need to sell? I'm want to build this bird right, but man it gets pricey!

Not enough prop to load the motor properly...

And here are the settings that "The Smith" (I.E. Joe Smith) uses for his A60-6XS...

Fixed Endpoints
Throttle response Custom 10
Cut off- Auto Lipo 3.2v/cell
Current Limiting- Disabled
Soft Cutoff
Start Power- High (100)
Motor timing- Low
PWM- 12khz
Firmware- 3.27
