Good one bro! Man I miss that guy...
I may go with a second elevator servo on this Slick, it actually needs a little tail weight with the battery back to the spar so it would work. But I never felt the need for two servos before.
So I took a good look, basically reference the stab, the right wing is negative and the left wing positive, they differ by about 2 degrees, easy fix.
The stab is at about 1 degree pos reference the fuse water line.
The elevators are out of whack. With the balance tips lined up with the stab LE the left elevator is TE lower than the right, I can cut the joiner and reposition the trailing edges but then the LE will be off, gotta split the diff.
The firewall is way off, pulls down and left, easy to fix with washers.
Anyway, all I'm saying is this is my first 3DHS plane that was way off out of the box, if I hadn't had such good results in the past I would have been looking out for this stuff during the build.
The Slicks do have a unique feel to them, I know I'll always have one in my stable, this one feels like a Slick for sure.

You don't need to do that....tape one elevator balance tab to the stab.....twist the other elevator in the opposite direction and hit all the wrinkles with a heat gun....repeat if needed....

Just did that myself, broke my elevator had to replace joiner and hinges, right side was a tad off. Taped the left to the stab, bent the right used heat gun to elimiant the wrinkles, wahla, everything is even.

I'll give heat a try, I normally only use heat to correct warps but if it works that would be nice.
Cute kid!

Ha... is this your first? Flying time is what you will be cherishing (of course along with kid time), I've found that time to fly is getting harder and harder to come by! I have a 4 year old and 1 year old now. No more though!
