Well i guess I'm part of this club now. Just made a deal for a built red 71" gotta wait till I return from this deployment to go over to Houston and pay for it and pick it up. Got the Motrolfly for it already (4325-310) just need ESC and servos. Hurry up December! LOL.

Thought I would throw these in the thread... 65 Flights on the 71 since spring.

Some pics of my 71 flying at Newark Throwdown in Sept. Always a good Camera guy and Pro Camera there.

Warren, nice pictures! I especially like the shadow of the canopy on the left wing in the second photo! Very crisp pictures; well done.

On August 25th, I posted that on the maiden flight of my Slick, the canopy blew off, and I never did find it...... Today, went out to my club field to fly for a while, and a good friend of mine almost ran up to me...and asked...."what color was your canopy"? To which I answered... "orange"....and he told me it was on one of the shelves in our transmitter impound. He was out during the week, and saw a mother and a little boy who was carrying the canopy, and he told her he knew who it belonged to, so the little boy gave to my friend who put it away for me.

Here it is, a little dirty, with a bit of mold on the wood (it had rained here since then), but once cleaned completely usable again!!

Wheel pants showed up today in the mail and I managed to score a set of 3" light weight DuBro wheels from a club member that fit just perfectly. Set a slightly nose heavy CG on the leading edge of the wing tube and now she should be good to go!

Weather tomorrow looks dreadful, go figure...

Nope. Gotta keep that ESC... Not had a Shutdown since I went Spinnerless.

Do miss it though. Going to add another scoop and shoot air at it from the bottom hole. Getting cool enough out now could go with it again.
