Why didn't they run? A pass???

for $10 bucks more you can get the Eflite version with a 70" wingspan and all balsa. You get highly functional flaps as well.

This is a pretty expensive styro kit.

Exactly it should be ARF for that price atleast. Hard to find a nice beaver. I love my e-flite, not the best flyer but nice looking.

Beautiful airplane, had my eye on it since it came out in Europe ....... if the price were just a little lower they would sell quite a few more IMO, as there just aren't many scale Beavers on the market.

Thanks for sharing, it looks great in the video.

$219 for a foam/plastic plane with none of the electrics included? Kind of steep.

Also, the video doesn't show any slow flying - looks more like a warbird at those speeds.

Imho

Consider this constructive in nature:

Price is too steep for what ya get.
Plane is way overweight.
Model is too small to see well.
Too fast, slow flying is not its forte.
Wing loading excessive for model type.
If it flew well I certainly could not tell that by watching this video.
I have more constructive comments, but I am gonna stop while I'm ahead.
Good luck on selling this one.
Thanks for coming on here to show us this.
Us guys are always looking for a good Beaver but this one misses the mark.

Oh, BTW, **** here **** are a few photos of the real deal, one with conventional gear, and one with floats (like the model):

Yeah it's fast alright. I've seen full scale Beavers get off the water in less distance. OK maybe not but its definitly not displaying scale like flight. Beautiful scale rendition tho.

Wow I might have flown in one of those when I was in the CAP in Alaska. I remember the tail number ended in G, but so do they all...

The wheeled plane was photographed in Anchorage, (recognize the mountains) probably at Merrill (MRI) field.

I'm wondering if those are DeHavilland L-20's per CAP designation or if they are DHC-2"s as per Hobby Lobby's designation. Something is amiss...
