Air shock with rubber piston?

A "soft" piston will change its shape depending on the speed of the movement, varying the "damping" effect applied to each direction change...

As I said to Torrance, did i get the price?

it's a speed sensitive damper controlled by an on-board ECU which can be adjusted by a 4th channel on the transmitter

it also looks like it has dual rate springs inside.

J.A.B.B.E(A).R. 2010.1 "Grenoble"


I proudly present:
Just Another Bike Built by Edi (Aaron) Racing 2010.1 for Grenoble
.....ha! the name is long and complicated but thats me.....

I had to take down the old posts for reasons I do not want to discuss here.

Up to this moment I have tested the bike on 22 Lipo Charges and all is going fine. Nothing much to say about it: overall its just more servicable, lighter, stiffer, and has a lower CG than the previous Prototypes. Its virtually indestructable ("knock wood"). We will see what happens this weekend in Switzerland at the first race. Weight is down to a lean 1550g. I am driving 80g front and 150g rear Wheels (w/o spokes) and a 4.5T brushless at the moment. You can imagine that acceleration and top speed is quite okay. I am having no problems whatsoever with wheelies and performance under braking is unbelievable. I am already averaging the times of last year with a few very strong laps here and there. Track temp. is at around 20-25C so there is still something to come.
The spokes and brakes for the front are new, I just got the first prototypes, hope that works well this afternoon.

Glad to see this bike back on here! You had us worried there man! This is not just another bike, but a serious piece of equipment. Hope to see some video of it soon!
