If it is true what you say CG, so it's a matter of less watts motor to reduce consumption or adjust very well the Genius for you complete a full course .... or save weight,,,

From my humble opinion Edi, you're the engineer

in the future,

politcians will be noble, prices will be stable...................but one thing is for shure...........lipo batteries will be smaller and lipo batteries will offer more and more capacity............and bikes will go faster

Maybe its because of the high quality Carbon Patrick Alleven used to make
the parts. I am not sure. I was so eager to put the bike together that I forgot
to weigh the parts beforehand.
I found it!! The darn Fairingclips were way overweight. I had overridden the weight manually so it did not update properly.
I was hesitating if I should post the results but thats what it says: 0,4g off target!! Now I feel much better
As a bonus the CG came down a little

I hope I thought of everything I even tried to reduce the use of Cable-Zip-Ties to ZERO (HEY!!! A ZIP-TIE WEIGHS 0.18grams SO DONT LAUGH). All I will need to keep everything in place is a square inch of double sided tape (thats 0.9grams).....or for example not one measurement in the whole bike equals "13,0mm".
....oh and did I mention that I had a pastor, a celtic witch, a pixie and a voodo priest approve every decision that had to be done. I posted this after I finished the 2011 a while ago... people thought I was joking...

As always much thanks for your replies and great pictures.

I see the battery & also fairing bottom are pretty close to the ground compared to an ole' bike FM1e. May I ask what the ground clearance is with & without the fairing?

I love your bike and I keep getting more ideas of how to finish the main chassis on mine. Mine is still very old school type like BD4, KP etc using fairly standard swing arm, this time...

With brand new tires
the suspension completly relaxed
All adjustments on the bottom limit:
its appox. 26.4mm.
with the fairing its half a milimeter less.
But thats not really compareable to a "conventional" bike.

Here are three videos from the last Weekend. I did a little testing in Lostallo.
Nothing serious.

First: This is a impression of how a bike shouldn´t drive. The 2012 Prototype was a shot to nothing. Sad but thats life.
Last Laps of a Prototype (3 min 49 sec)

Second: Here is a 2011 bike from the same camera position for comparison
Rc-Bike in Lostallo (JABBER 2011) (1 min 51 sec)

Third: Here are just a few fun-laps from the other side of the track.
Funride in Lostallo (4 min 12 sec)

As an ex binman (really!) I am more qualified to empty Edi's bins.

Though I can empty yours as well if you have a 1/8 protoype in there...
