Costello: What's the guy's name on first base?

Abbott: No. What is on second.

I knew I should have looked it up first.

WOT may also coincide with WayOutThere where you can't see orientation and then get to WalkOutThere. Icky

WOT = WithOut Trousers. I learned this one as I was being escorted off the field into the police van.

Umm, how did you make it to the field w/o Trousers?

I will admit it, I'm an old fart and most of these abreviations drive me nuts. I assume this is what comes from texting? Or is it just being lazy? I have been in RC for many years and know pretty much all the normally used abreviations but nowadays way too much is abreviated.

Sorry my first post is resurrecting an old thread, but this page had me asking what "WOT" meant. In that context, apparently it means "WithOut Transmitter"

This is really entertaining
WOT = Wide Open Taps too (same thing I 'spose)
CG = Centre of Gravity (or CoG in US maybe)
BTW = By The Way
Fuz = Fuselage

To name but a few, it's also interesting how different places have 'variations' of the same thing. Let's not go into 'rubbers' & 'erasers' just now, but there are times when I see an abbreviation (abbr) and just can't put it together so you're not alone
