Tri-Quad-Hexa-Octo-copters!!
Hi,
It is listed with a link under the poll on page one along with many others that are not currently in one of the two polls. Yes I need to do yet another poll Unfortunately RCG does not currently allow poll updating by the author. That would make it much easier in the ever evolving world of multicopters.)
Cheers,
Jim

Safety

Plugging in the battery with hands exposed to the props made me think about how to prevent an accident so I made these dowels. Plain 8mm wood dowels with heat shrink and rubber grommets. Works like a charm

Hk x900

Hi guys, HK's new X900 tricopter frame isn't included on the voting yet.

If anyone is looking to try this cheap frame, it's not bad but not perfect. Feedback available on the X900 forum. I put together a photo sequence of my build here:

hi guys i would like to know what you think is the best, most fun/stable/decent flight time rtf quadcopter
im looking for something to try out ma mini fpv set up stuck between the 959 949 types (i'll buying from banggood so anything else they stock u recommend)

i have a keychain camera so im not fussed about the 959 camera its more about which carries more weight id say around 20-35 grams at most.

im thinking the 959 might have more removable parts so theyre for would end up closest to its stock weight. but the 949 looks more fun to fly and in wind might actually fair better?

Hi F,
You can go wrong with your choice there. Keep in mind that you can never have too many multicopters

Ditto! I bought one of these little x4's and I cannot stop flying it! I haven't flown either of my 450 quads since I got this thing. I hope my Shark goggles will plug in to a video outlet when I get the FPV in a few days.

Someone asked how to get the little SD memory card for their camera. Go to Radio Shack. I have a lady bird that came with a 6gig card already installed and a small card reader. I wish they'd all do that ... for the money.

Hi.
I need a confirm about tri copter CG.
I know that T copter cg is far way back in rear boom than standard tri. But like this picture where front booms is tilted 15 degrees onwards, is the CG like it should be in standard tri?

Desing is working on progress here, but I need to have confirm about CG.

Here is my thought. Draw a line connecting all arm tips to form a triangle. The center of that triangle is your CG.
This is just off the top of my head, anyone feel free to correct me.
The best way (not easy) is to weigh the tip of each arm until they all weigh the same.

Why I didin't remember triangle thing.. I think you are right. So it looks like CG is close to T-copter's.

Weight measuring method should be very good but not at this point, when everything is at this point of sketching.

Thanks!
