More information concerning specs for the 70mm units.

Being a startup, I'm sure many of you might be leary of many aspects of this new product, and myself as a newcomer to the marketplace. I am not a salesman or a BS'er. You will always get straight talk from me, and and answer, only when I know it. If i am guessing or estimating, I will tell you.
So with that said, I'd like to share some info from the mfgr that i rec'd today(As i will from time to time) Some of this has been stated previously, but please note the THRUST @ 1274w that I highlighed.

Thanks, Gary

That's great Joe. Unfortunately I don't have a gazillion EDFs and rotors around to compare to. But I'd love it if you and anyone else would share your findings here.

Thanks, Gary

I am comparing just to my others in a plane, not bench comparing. Too many complainers out there for me to even want to attempt that. Ill do my comparison by flying the jet with it in it. It will outperform the plastic rc mart unit hands down. Maybe not a ton with the numbers, but the added cooling factor of the aluminum will put it in its own class for sure. They sound great thats for sure!!

just received mine, i have JP-550 and JP-700. i will use it on a small A4 skyhawk (1.2Kg) instead of a WM-400+typhon 2W20. I don't know if I'll get more power but i love the heatsink idea!

both EDF were delivered with an engine cone and added length cone tube (like on the WM-400); everything is aluminium, except the blades.

the JP-700 was sent with a BL motor that looks great, i'll give it a try too.

Cedric,

This sounds great, Gary! I wish you the best of luck with your new business. I'm definitely keeping an eye on this thread...

Are the impeller blades aluminum too? If so... that would be mighty cool but you might run into AMA issues (which matters to some of us...not so much to others).

Thanks for the well wishes.
The impeller is glass filled nylon.
