Question

Cutting cores for multi-panel & taper wings with ailerons

When cutting cores for a multi-panel, multi-taper wing which will be using ailerons that extend across multiple panels, to you vertically align the airfoils to where the hinge point (top, bottom or center) will form a straight line, or do you align them by the center chord line?

Yep, you are on the right track. align them by the hinge line and rotate the washout aroudn that point to. This will result in a straight hinge that will move more freeley and last longer.
