Tf8000

Turbo Fan 8000 and BigScreamer

The Scorpion 4035 looks intimidated...

The Byron and TF8000 rotors look similar... (besides reversed)

The customer has two of these and he is going to decide once we get the thrust numbers. Something huge that's for sure.

Yes, a steady stream of big EDF conversations.

Clay is working up another custom adapter and then on to the thrust stand for the numbers. this one will be exciting.

RW,
Thanks for sharing your progress with the TF8000. I too am intersted in what motor/esc/batteries you work through and the results they produce. I have a TF8000 destined for a MRM Hunter, but haven't decided on what motor, etc to use with it. Wanted to get the fan so I could work out the ducting in and out of it. My fan weighs 314g. Nice piece of work.

Will do. that's a nice large scale Hunter. the EDF is nicely done, Aeronaut does excellent glass work.

This is one of Dean Lassek's kits from Josh Harel plans. Don Bybee built this one and flew for years on a single P-80 at 35lbs in Colorado.

Brad is finishing his up super scale.

I love A-10's but that is just not right at all to have a single motor back there! I don't care that it is a turbine either

Of course, that's our ticket in the DM airshow.

Also the main gun relocation as well. Doh!
