I can't fly today.

I went to Lowes yesterday and bought some stuff to try and make a bungee launcher for the Zephyr.

I like the t3chdad-backwards-over-the-head-two-handed-toss though.

I flew at WBC today about 1:30 and the weather couldn't have been better. I hope it's as nice tomorrow for our lunchtime.

Had some landscaping work done over the weekend and they cut my Mediacom line so I have to meet them there at lunch today to get it repaired.

Bungee release is made (from latex tubing, angle iron, and tent stakes). Maybe I will try it out tomorrow.

Wondering if I can bungee launch right off the ground or if I really need a ramp. Anyone ever seen planes bungee launched right off the ground? All the youtube vids that I watched showed launching off a PVC ramp. Would be easy enough to make but would like to keep it compact to stay in my car.

I've seen them launch right off the ground in person numerous times. Tram had a bungee that we would use to launch all kinds of aircraft at Andy's fly-ins. I think it would work especially with how smooth the ground is at WBC.

Thanks Bob. I think bungee will be next best thing to a t3chdad-backwards-over-the-head-off-the-backboard-two-handed-toss
