Here's some video from the place I fly off of Douglas Rd in Rancho. Ignore the silly graphics, I forgot to change the settings on the mac.

Thx.

I see many great runways in the Video :-)
And the whole place is all yours, no sight of living, not even a single tree :-)

Yeah, it's pretty empty. Only hazards are some street lights. And the random torched car.

Sure, east of Sunrise. Look for the big "Security" building. Next left after their driveway.

Here's a link to google

Im planning on flying on Sunday Morning, around 10am to beat the heat. Right now I am thinking of going to Elk Grove, but may check out this Douglass Blvd spot Belem. Anyone care to join up at either location?

Are you serious about the red part?
It is next to security building so it should be safe, right?

I guess soon there will be some torched planes too :
Hope not

Douglas Blvd: Left at mailboxes past Security Park Bldg

foamcraze, It's solitary alright. And runways galore. I'm aware that when you're by yourself it's not a good idea to be caught alone out there. It's probably a good idea to fly with friends rather than alone out there, of course: There's only one way in - and out of that site. But flying there in that solitary place is a great way for me to recharge my own batteries, so-to-speak, and get the most out of a flying experience: Just you and your plane with no cars and trees and people to worry about.

Hobbyzone Supercub Touch-n-Go (1 min 3 sec)

There's dirt to land on, but the dry growth makes for a bush pilot experience as seen here:

A Bush Cub (0 min 48 sec)

belem, your vids are pristine. Does a bellylanding hurt your Radian out there?

gent 96, 3:05 is frickin awesome man. I watched it 3 times

Well, they don't hurt the radian when the land smoothly. When I try to catch it and miss....well, that might require a bit of glue.

And yes, I was serious about the torched car. Went out one day for lunch and nothing there, the next day I go back and an SUV had been torched. I called the po-po and it was gone the next day.

And Sinai - there are actually TWO exits to that place. The one on the southern end and there's one on the northeast side. But the only people I've run into out there are construction dudes.
