Re: Sheldon's Hobbies - round two

Your experience is a common one. As a local to the San Jose area, I
can say that Sheldon's is a fine store to visit in person. Some of the
sales people there are very nice. However, the owner of the store
(Ron? Rob?) often answers the phone... I've seen him poke his head out
of the back room on occassion... He is one of the least friendly
people you'll ever deal with. Generally speaking, when you get him on
the phone you can count on nothing but rude, gruff responses and an
unprofessional tone. It's as if he wants his business to fail so he
can move on and do something else. Sad really.

As with anything, vote with your cash. Mean people suck.

I totally agree. Most of the students and Roger are a real help, but Ron (I think that's his name) is a real jerk for some reason. Now I mostly go to HobbyWorld or Castle.
