Regarding the CG on my Zephyr maiden toss. Should CG go 10 or 11 inches from the LE? I dont want to accordion my nose 1st flight....

I'd like to launch her today, Daylight is falling! I'll go with 11" from LE unless some one else has better experience to offer...

Anyone?

Half naked, she flew beautifully considering my 1400kv hasnt shown up yet. I went with 10.5" from LE.

Hey Diggs, did you ever build the Zeph? Did you leave it nekid? If so, what did it wind up weighing. How much did you figure it saved? Did it work out for you?

It would appear that this Zephyr design is a winner! Just came across and read the whole thread. Well done klique.

Is this a standard airfoil or one you have evolved? I like to cut and build and came across this thread trying to learn about a good all round airfoil for flying wings.

Looking at the other threads now to see the builds. Excellent!
