Global Hawk for FPV

I've just spotted this and am thinking about getting one as a FPV platform. Please don't all go and buy one before I have chance to save some pennies to buy one . Just wanted opinions from others before purchasing.

NICE

Not a bad price either considering that they send the motor and fan with it.

We need pics of her insides.

Good luck! We have over 100 members in are RC Club and I have seen many ( ducked Fan setups ) IMO they would NOT make a good setup for FPV! Why you ask? The ducked motor is VERY good at pulling all the amps out of very good batteries! ( it's under powered compared to any prop setup and kills batteries in very short order!
IMO , a bad idea for FPV.

I agree, it would be great if you could make it a pusher.

People in this forum put a brushles to the global Hawk.

The problem it isnt if has EDF or brushless ( you can put one if you wants ), the problem is the material. It Isnt Elapor ( or similar ). Some pilots says that is fragile for FPV.

Looks good, but would suck for FPV unless you changed the power system. Also won't carry much payload before it becomes a lead sled..

Now, if it had a 3m or larger wingspan....
