You are a "go" for reentry

Flipping as in role is seldom a CG issue.
What is your CG position? Just to get that out of the way.
How did you set up your surfaces? Tailerons, stabilator? Aileron, flapperon?

Also very telling what are your linkage setups, Expo/rates....

It simply sounds like you were oversteering the model. Of the many EDFs out there the F-35 tends to have a good glide ratio and is fairly stable. So erratic is often setup sensitivity. That's just a guess not a statement. If you look back in the thread erratic is not typical.

i had too much throw on my elevator, made it vary eratic. consider movign the elevator push rod to the farthest point on the control surface horn.

What you may not realize is: that there is more than one F35 at BH. They now carry the Freewing F35, along with the Freewing F/A18 and the Freewing Eurofighter, just like the ones at HLI. The difference is that the HLI models include a battery and the BH ones don't. Even taking the battery out of the equation, the BH models are less expensive.

That only happened this year. BH is now getting most lines now since HL down sized.

After 50 flights on my F-35, one of the elevators seperated from the hinges during flight when the vt was open. Interesting enough, nothing was changed in flight characteristics. Even I made two tours around for being sure that. She flared and landed without any damage. It was a surprise for me. I found the falled elevator half after half hour search.

Yep, BH just started selling the freewings a few months ago so only the guys that follow that site would likely know about the additions to their product line.

selcuk,
It's a good idea to check all of the flight surfaces and their connections after, and before, each flying session. After all, the parts are mostly foam and plastic and are vulnerable to fatigue and/or breakage.

Mine just arrived from HL (on sale). We have a grass field - I may have to take the retracts out and belly land her.

Here is a short video of my F-35 taken with a head cam.
F35_Freewing with HET2W20.wmv (3 min 43 sec)

I still get a lot of fun out of her at the local park.
