Did anyone else see the ad in the OCT 2009 FLY RC magazine for this new mini warbird (just got the mag yesterday)?

Page 71............. Looks like it will be a fun one.

Awesome. Small enough to fit in the front seat of the car as well as small park.

I've got a 10A ESC and some HXT500s sitting around waiting to be used. I hope it'll fit and balance with a 750mah 2S pack too so I won't have to shop for more lipos...only 16.5grams more than a 460mah pack according to Rhino specs.

Or you could go a little smaller and get this:

The ad calls for 430mah but I hope there's room in that little plane to try different lipo sizes and still get proper cg. With a total AUW of around 200g, its gonna have to be a calm day outdoors.

Is it calling out 2 or 3 cell?

From the pic in post #1, the middle of the 3 bullets in the lower right hand corner of the page calls for 7.4V. I can't make out with certainty the number in front of "S" but 7.4V would be 2S.

Funny, just after finding this thread earlier, my mail came along with that issue of Fly RC, I like it. I have some 2S lipo packs laying around that I think would fit. If someone finds a site that lists a price and availability please share.

Certainly interesting, tuning in. I may have the gear for this ready and if the price is right it may be the next to join the fleet.
