Kangke 25% Monocoupe 90A

My first gas/electric conversion. My first giant scale. Before this my largest plane was a 55" Eflite T-34, so this is a big step up. So far I've been getting 9 minutes of flight and putting between 4000 and 5000mah back into the pack when charging as a 5s2p 10,000mah pack.. So I bet I can get 15-20 minutes of conservative flight. Not that I'd really want to do that, but I could!

AUW: 17lbs 4oz.

Static test:
1500 watts with a 19x8 prop.
2000 watts with a 19x10 prop.

Kangke USA:
1/4 Scale Monocoupe 90A

Turnigy:
AerodriveXp SK 63-64 230Kv outrunner
Sentilon 100A HV ESC
19x10 Beechwood light electric prop

Spektrum:
DX9 transmitter
AR9350 AS3X receiver
(2) DSMX satellites
SPMA9605 flight pack energy sensor

Hitec:
(4) HS-7966HB servos (ailerons, elevator, rudder)
(2) HS-475HB servos (flaps)

Caste Creations:
CCBEC Pro

Pulse:
Ultra 10s1p 5000mah 35c LiPo (5s1p x2)

Hello Cyberjay,
I bought the same configuration as yours. I have one problem left.... I don't know if I have to center the motor mount on the firewall or if I have to move it from the centerline (2° right thrust) and how much must I move it?. Can you please help me out? My mailadres : guido.bove@pandora.be
I am living in Belgium Europe.

Kind regards

I centered it, and I thought it came out looking fine. I used two washers under the left hand motor mounts to get the right thrust.

Good luck with it, I like this plane.

I'm not sure what to say beyond what's in the pics. There's tons of room, so no problem mounting stuff. I had to mount everything as far forward as I could in order to get the CG right without adding lead.

Good luck with it.

I am going with a very large motor, either the E-Flite Power 360 or the 180.
