The LED on mine broke, what is a replacement LED for the older units?

Also, a kit option would probably be great...graduated pricing = more customer base

Clive you won't be able to see a noticeable improvement from an existing version.

However if your really keen I can consider a part ex for the existing unit to make the new one cheaper to upgrade to.
You will have two lots of postage to consider though.

The leds are high intensity white LED and can be bought most places or scavenged from old equipment.

Just spent half an hour balancing 2 change sun 10 blade fans....

Impressed!

This kit is great!

Perfect balancing - huge difference from previous efforts using clock method.

I still have yet to get the mystical perfect balance out of my BB balancer. IE I can't achieve the 3-6 lines from the ESC phase pulses.

I wonder if there is something up with my unit? Or maybe I'm just not getting the technique right.

When I throw on a Don's EDF unit (with balancing service done) I get those 3 equidistant lines. I just haven't been able to get them myself on other units.

I've taken up the cellphone balance method and seem to do better with that.

I can understand what you are saying.
First up, the fan had to be mounted correctly as per instructions.

Also, finding the heavy side and how much weight to add on the opposite side are key to achieving good results.

I have to admit that my efforts also had an element of luck since the weight that I used up front ended up being the correct one.

Bob,

I'd like to order the newer unit - should I just order on your website?

thanks

Clemens
the ordering system on the website works I will inform you of projected dispatch date once the order arrives.

I am still extremely busy with the day job so from order it can take a few days before dispatch.
