Hi Fuzz, Bob and Stuey,

Thanks again. I'm really looking forward to flying the model again. I can tell it's going to be a real confidence-builder.

Hi Larry,

I'm pretty much finished updating the parts with the refinements I made while building the prototype. I've started making the parts for the laser files. Once these are done, I will be drawing the plans and writing the manual. During these steps I'll also be making the production molds.

I'm expecting to have kits ready for sale near the end of March or beginning of April.

Dan,

Will your kit include ductwork or will that be up to me?

The inlet ducts are made from rolled 100# bristol paper with balsa inner walls. The kit will include the templates and the bristol paper needed to make the ducts. They're actually very easy to make. (See: post #35)

The tailpipe is made from rolled .010" mylar.

Lookie what the Balsa Fairy left me!

I cleaned my bench just in time for warmer weather and a complete pre-production F-4 Phantom II kit. I'm sure Dan will pack the items better than me.

I'll be posting photos here detailing my build. I expect it's going to go pretty quickly. My hat's off to Dan for taking my original design and refining it to the beautiful kit you see here.

Without further ado, here are the photos I've been authorized to leak to the public.

So you want to become part of the family, or become a made man do you?

There is a process, first you must exercise patience. When the family is ready, they will contact you and you can offer a small tribute. In return for your tribute, you will become a proud member of the SavageLight F-4 family forever, and you will also receive a small token of our appreciation that you may keep and do with as you please.

Nah, one Blue Angel in the family is enough.

I've had my eye on this paint scheme for a while. Its from the VX-30 Naval Weapons Test Squadron.

Thanks, Daren.

There are a couple of small tasks I need to complete, such as the inlet duct templates, then the kit will be ready for general release. It won't be too long, now.

Thanx, Dan. I have been saving a few bucks towards one. I won't be using the ducting as supplied, tho. I plan on a lightened version to be bungee'd with 70mm fan. I think we discussed this earlier.

You're welcome.

Yes, I understand. But, I've got to do the work anyway.
