Smitty, you OK? How about every one in the path of Sandy, Ron, Gary, or anyone else.

Very cold and windy here and lots of snow about 30 miles north and headed this way. This is one big storm!

Got a couple few blown transformer, one caused an office fire. We had some hard blinks but the power is still on. We currently seem to be in the calm before the storm. Lots of Snow being called for in strange places.

I'm thankful you and your family are OK Smitty. I hope you don't have to much property damage.
I hope it doesn't hit you to hard Ron.
We have not heard back from Gary.

Lot's of traffic on the interstate this morning and I noticed a lot of out of state tags from up north. People are doing whatever they have to do to get through this.

It seems to have missed us altogether and I'm thankful but I'm sure sorry for all of you that have had to go through the storm.

No, I think the power may be off. I'm worried about them. From what I'm seeing on the TV things are really bad up their way.

I hope they post as soon as they can so we'll know they're OK.

We never got what they promised.... I had always heard if a hurricane hit that spot it would be bad, that has been proven. As far as what it would do inland, I think they will be writting the books on that one.

All ok here. No power and internet services. Cell towers were flaky and not reliable until now. Using the cell phone to post this. We r back in the stone age here. I dont have much damage but have a tree that spilt down the middle that is hanging over the house and being held up by wires so that status may change unless I can find someone to take it down befioe it falks down. Nothing else major except a fes blocks south by the bay where many lost their boats, docks, and houses to storm surge. Have to travel to other areas to charge stuff so I amsigning off until I can get more juice. Hope everyone else is ok.

I'm glad you guy's are OK. Smitty may be like Gary, without power and cell phone batteries will drain down in a day. Hopefully we'll hear from him soon.
Yeah, Hugo was our Sandy for sure. We had damage this far upstate.

It is obvious to me that the weather has changed in our life-time. We didn't see this much destruction from stroms when I was younger. Maybe the planet is over populated, to many auto's, boats, homes, airplan----no wait a minute, let me rethink this......
