Yes, first trip, and other then the A/C failure and record breaking temps, it has proven to be a viable solution for our travel needs. Going to drop a new unit is on, more efficient and less problematic.

Did not get any other flying in other then the one in Wisc. When we lived here in Cedar it seemed like it was always windy, it has not changed.

I hope you guys are having better weather.

Heat wave now. HOT, HOT, HOT!

I'm glad your RV worked great for you. It is so hot here that my wife and I are going swimming in our daughters pool. That's a first!

I always need a vacation to rest up from vacation trips,
and I need time to relax from those relaxation get-a-ways.

Seems like more and more we're doing stay-cations.

16.5 hours is a loooong trip!

First time all weekend RCG would load up for me. Well vacation over, back to work this morning. But I had a great week of flying , even with the heat. Total was 42 flight at an average of 6 min. per flight. With one mishap. I was doing a inverted low fly by that turn into a inverted landing.

Anyone watch auction hunters?

They bought a storage room for like 1700 and found this big ass jet rc plane inside.

Granted, Ive never actually seen an RC airplane other than what Ive built or crappy Youtube picture quality but that thing was about as slick as it could be on my tv screen, look and performed just like a real one almost. Dude give them 9K for it and he musta thought he was getting a good deal, cause thats alotta money to throw down for a hobby.

For that kind of money I would buy a full scale (real) airplane. My son is still applying some pressure to buy one.

The last time I looked Lowes had the same blue FFF in stock in the upstate area. I could buy lots of it but my problem is that I don't have room to store/stock it myself. About two bundles is my limit.

The link on post #12 to post #141 of the "Trainer Two Thread" is interesting. I may have to take another look at the pink stuff.

I built the 63" and the big bipe ellipso using the green stuff. Does it compare to the blue in strength and flexibility? No, its very brittle and more porous (larger air cells).

Its doable but Id use dollar tree foam before Id buy the green crap again. It also has an odor to it. Stanks. lol
