28-58-1 motor data

Folks

I thought I'd put all the data gathered by me for the 28-58-1 here as not to clutter up any threads with misc ramblings by some folks:

Noload 3S/4S and 3S results for these APC E props:

4.75x4.75
5x5
6x4 Sport
7x5

Cheers,
Bryan

28-58-1 motor data

How about 196mph pitch speed? How's that sound?

Motor test with 5S Flightmax 3000mah lipo on a 4.75x4.75 APC E prop.

Enjoy,
Bryan

Holy abuse batman!!! THats absolutely insane! And im impressed with the batteries being able to hold 3.3V/cell at that kind of discharge current! I think that would get you to 200 mph pretty dang easily...

Any chance you could shoehorn it all into the Escape

Very close to the numbers I got on my Projeti (bench test only)

I used a Thunder power 5S 3300 mah...and 4.7 X 4.7 Graupner CAM speed with spinner.

Can't wait for my bungee to arrive....

also thinking whether I should put in an order for Thunder power 5S 3850 30C, rated for 115 amps continuous....

Shoehorning it into an Escape might be a problem but possibly doable.

28-58-1 motor data

This setup is in a 6904 HET fan and the rotor is properly balanced.

Two runs were made with low timing/high timing on a 5S Flightmax 3000mah lipo(interesting thing is the lipo held 3.6V per cell):

As you can see there was very little difference between the timing change so I set it back to normal.

Nice data. If you try with 4.75x5.25 or 5.25x6.25 and 4S, please, let us know. Thanks
Miche

Wow didn't see this post.

It would be close to the 5x5 results albeit with a higher rpm number and higher amp draw. I could try and get some numbers up soon.
