Ya, big wing is not going to care about a little nose weight.

Make sure you let her roll out well before you lift off

Sorry if you already bought it but a lot of people including myself think the Saito 1.25 has been outdated with the recent release of the DLE-20.

I put a gasser on my Four-Star 120 (an Evo 26cc).

I have to say that I like the extended flight times and it hasn't dead-sticked yet. Gas is pretty cool.

On the other hand, I love my glow powered airplanes. The single battery, the simplicity, fuel that doesn't stink...I'm going to have both for a long time. That Saito 125 is going to be fun!!

all those advantages to glow are indeed true. But the biggest is the sound of a 4-stroke.

Only one battery is necessary for a gas motor. The same one can be used for the ignition and RX. Fuel consumption is so low you only need a 6 oz tank. No oil to wipe off fusalage. Fuel cost is $3.00 per gallon (plus oil). Initial cost is much lower. A 2 cycle has no valves to adjust. The DLE-20 has slightly more power than a Saito 1.25. Maybe the sound atvantage of the Saito overcomes it's disadvantages.

I don't work for DLE and have not yet purchased one but the choice seems pretty obvious to me.

I'm with Mike, I have a Poulan chain saw if I get lonely for the raucas, obnoxious, unpleasant sound. I add castor to my chain saw fuel to get that pleasing smell, it doesn't take much.
