2S 2200s at 44A (20c) & 30C (66Amps)

So how do some of the current 2S LiPolys stack up / compare at 20C?

I am not going to answer a bunch of questions or express a lot of opinions as I did not run these test but I will say they came from what I consider an extremely reliable source.

I have other Threads on 3S versions of these LiPolys and test results posted in those threads should answer most questions.

2S 2200 at 30C (66A) discharge.

Wonder what happens when you push these a little harder? 30C seems reasonable for LiPolys rated 30-40C. I have never been interested in 1-1/2 minute flights myself but some use LiPolys in LMR events, pylon racing, extreme heli 3D and EDF so there are those who feel the need for extreme power.

Note TP ProPower is rated 30C ,Hyperion G3 VX is rated 35C and SMC is rated 40C.

Another item in those plots which would be interesting is the integral--the area underneath the curves. It represents the energy (watt-hours) that is delivered out of the cells. Clearly the Thunderpower wins.

CBA II Pro has the ability to display whatt hrs. instead of amp. Hr.
Greater volts under load at same amps. equals more watts, greater capacity delived in addation equals even more more watt hours delivered.

Second sentence of post here

covers it I believe.

Note that post was in jest to the OP in that thread but in fact there are some who are never content with their current products and are always seeking improvements.

I have been reamed on other forums for even posting graphs of the ProPower 40s due to the simple fact that they are not available to the general population. This delay was not intentional and will be corrected ASAP but that could still prove to be a while yet. In the mean time PP 30s are available and not that far behind the 40s in performance.

Funny how the packs stack up in reverse chronological order by C rating. That is the 30C is on top, followed by the 35C, then the 40C. Kinda throws that whole manufacturer C rating out the window.
