Motor for 22-24 lbs 3D/IMAC model
I am looking for a suitable motor for a 3D/IMAC model weighing 22-24 lbs.
I run electric F3A, and therefore have a number of 10s5Ah packs which I want to use as 10s2p (10 Ah)
(This is also what is commonly used in the German F3A-X class, I believe.)
1. Will the 1527-series of motor be able to deliver up to 5kW+ short term?
(e.g. the 1527-1Y, effective kv=1250/6.7=186, or the 1527-2D, effektive kv=1150/6.7=172)
2. Alternatively, would a geared 2215 be suitable for 10s?
(2215-1Y, effective kv=1440/6.7=215 which is ok, but voltage limited to 30V, I assume 35-36V under load for a 10s pack. 2215-1.5Y, effective kv=1020/6.7=152, which may be fine for 12s packs, but probably too low for 10s.)
What do you recommend?
3. What is the current delivery time for these motors?
For a light weight system I think the 1527 size would be the way to go. Production time is in the 3-4 week range now.
