Im almost sure its a Fixed Pitch heli. I've been flying the esky honey bee FP and converted one to a smaller size by chopping the main blades, tail boom, skids, rear prop.

im guessing by the looks of it its about the size of the Hirobo Quark SRB

hmmm...
yeah its a fixed pitch, looks to be pretty neat

I'll be picking one up if the price is right

who knows though when the release will be, they say late august but look how long it took the cp pro 2 to come out lol

Yes, it looks to be fixed pitch. What is the AUW of your converted HBFP?

Great thing is they are working on more sub micros.
Down the track we should see a bind n fly sub micro cp. But currently they are really playing catch up so it may be akin to purchasing a Novus cp now!
Here's hoping anyway!

Tried hard to make this light but alas she's a porker at 194 gm. w/o battery
I only use 2s packs 800~900 mah between 43~54 gm

I bored holes on the frame center column saved 1 gram. using alloy cnc pinion 13T saved a gram there. removed some of the main gear spokes saved another gram.

I have the ARC BL motor and i know its 20gm less than the stock motor

I'm still fine tuning this baby so its not done yet. Its a good indoor flyer or outdoors when its calm. I just can't afford the SRB QuarK

If this new Blade comes out to be something I might retire the FP Moth

If I know eflite this wont come out until 2010. The blade 400 and CPP2 were delayed alot just to name a couple. But it should be cool when it comes out.

I have thought about "mothing" one of my CP Pro 2's but I just don't see anyway to get down below the 100g AUW. I imagine that this new sub-micro blade is below 50g AUW.

If it flies more like a Quark than like a 4#3B, I'd buy one.
