A little shakedown flight fresh out of the hanger for (yet another) crash overhaul/reconfiguration

T250 Littlebird with a Gaui 4 blade head. I need to pull the airframe out of the fuselage again to get at the 3G box for one last tweak it seems, so I think I'll paint the head black while doing that for a more-scale color

Put some paint on the T250 Littlebird head, and thought I'd give the paint I used some shill-action . Testers Modelmaster 'Aircraft Interior Black' in a bottle of Acrylic, applied with a paintbrush. Works real nice making wrong-color parts right, nice and 'weathered flat' looking, and sticks too! Holds just fine on a 11K rpm tail I put it on, and did a nice job making the Littlebird look better:

Head looks super with the new paint. The crazing of the paint near the head is typical of US Army maintenance in the field so leave it. Besides your heli fleet flys. I don't remember you having any hangar queens.

Very cool looking heli! I see you have the 'I need a bigger yard' effect I'm wrestling with also in the first video

Be careful with that landing pad!!!
It happened to me last year when the "pad" lifted up and hit the main rotor during landing approach. Flying in the backyard this time of the year will clear the autumn leaves also.
Cool airwolf.
