I got some epoxy, thanks!

Another thing I notice is that the 2 rear fins are to big for the recesses in the fuse, did you guys have to sand them down to fit or just fill with epoxy. Seems that they would be sturdier in the recess, but would also ruin the paint on fins if trimed.

I only had to scrap/sand down ends and in the recess for the fin I did not have to make it fit as the fit just right on mine.
You cound try tapering the ends of the supports for the fins so they fit in.

I shaped mine and flattened them a bit with a sanding disk until they fit flush and at the right angle. I don't know if the 450 are plastic or fiberglass. The 500 fins are fiber.

Yeah thats what I figured, seems all the holes, mounting points etc are in need of attention, they layed the paint on pretty heavy on this one. Thats ok, its all part of modeling.... really, the part I seem to enjoy the most.

When I get closer to the end result, I'll start a new thread on the build. Thank you all for the help.

Yea I found a metric drill bit that seemed the right size and re-drilled all the mounting holes.
