Love the Lama!

But then, maybe I'm biased --- my own Kavan Alouette II (I think this one slightly predates the Kavan JetRanger if someone wants to update their timeline. Seems it's circa around 1977?):

That looks like the old Vario Bendix head.... never flew it, but heard it was not the best of their multiblade heads. The double bolted heads are said to be a lot better. I have no direct comparision, but I really like the "new" double bolted heads. We fly the Lynx with a fourblader as well, and it flies perfect, but that fuselage is annoyingly fast....

And in full size, the Lynx is still the world's fastest helicopter!

My hard working X-Cell 60 in "QS" coat, "Greater Sydney" flag is 6x3' and bottom "NSW" 9x4' plus half a kilo of lead ballast hanging them down, something different to do with helicopters then pathetic 3/D heli flying, J.

You know I have wanted a plastic or fiberglas scale Huey Cobra 'hang-on' fuse for my Kalt Whisper for a long time now.... but I just can't seem to find one anywhere.... then I had an epiphany, and thought it applied to this thread -- would this (link) not be a cool gift for someone who knew how to get the most use out of it, for Christmas?

Heck, you could pound out whatever scale body you could find drawings of, or scan, or otherwise convert into electronic bits...

Maybe I could then have my Cobra fuse!

Nice looking bird BC and nice flying too. May I ask what size tail blades are you running on the four blade head? Ed

OK. Thanks B.C. I have a 500E I want to fly with a four blade head. I'm a little concerned about holding power of the two blade tail. Thanks again. Ed
