Hi Keyrigger, your CG chopper looks great!...on your 600e, is the frame width around 2inches, and are you using a Scorpion motor in it, and / or which one?....my Align motor sure gets hot in the 600, but in the 500, the Scorpion is barely lukewarm...i am looking for a motor replacement to handle the extra fuse weight on the 600, and was concerned about the fit and width.

Thanks. The 600 Pro frame is 2.25" wide and I am using the stock Align 510 kV motor in it. It does get warm to the touch but not too bad. The esc does get to about 150 degrees but once I have it installed in another position, it should get more air flow over it and that will reduce the temps. I am holding it to flights around 6 minutes actual air time, not just throttle over 25% which is also spool-up. Take care.

Don

Appreciate the info Don.....Jose, i'll be looking forward to your next flight!....i put some new KBDD blade dampners in my 500 with the Defender fuse, and i believe it held up the heli with it's big 4400 lipo with a little more authority.

Here is a little teaser I made after I ran into some vibration issues with the weapons pods due to the additional weight of the pilots/cockpit.

Comes to find out after trying to figure why, I relocated the batteries a little farther to the back and loosened the blade grips a bit and it seems to have taken care of it...

Got it say, trying in keeping this thing in front of a static camera is not easy, especially when is hovering so low to the ground

Thanks, All I had to do was loosened the blade grips a little and re-located the batteries a little to the rear and that took care of it... guess it got nose heavy after all the additions. She looks to be very smooth...

Here was my second flight on the 600 size RC Aerodyne Jayhawk. It was pretty windy and I need to trim it out a little more to smooth it out.

Hopefully this weekend I will maiden my 500. Calling for rain right now. I have my pocket cam in the truck so I hope I can get someone at the field to record it.
I found that having a 4cell AA battery to run the lights works as a perfect counter in the nose to get perfect CG
