I remember the most frustrating part about building this plane is the motor mount and running 10 G wire thru it....and drilling the bolt hole thru da wing

There was that and also the fact that there was no hardwood backing for any of the control horn mounting locations on the flight control surfaces. I sunk some hardwood plates into them just to be safe. The plane looks and flys great though.

I could not get my hoda jet up to takeoff speed on our grass runway. Premature liftoff, stalled, crashed, retired and salvaged. Still have carcass. I will eventually trash it.

My honda flying weight is 5.3kg...thrust is at 3kg..which is way to low for my liking...but I have some optimization to do..so hopefully it will reach 4kg at a minimum before I maiden it.

My TT-62

Since we are sharing photos, here are a few off mine. Although it is not crytals clear, the landing approach is my favorite - I use it as my desktop background.

If you want reliability with mechanical retracts, get the air up, spring down type. If the air bleeds out before you select them down, they will come down due to the spring tension on them.
