Not to criticise, but I suspect your multi-choice buttons may be inadvertantly loaded!

I see your point. I forgot to include "all of the above."

I really dislike pop-ups... Especially when they suddenly go into a "loop" and the pop-up has pop-ups and Alt+F4 repeatedly is the only way out of the pop-up-hell..

Dislike is actually not a strong enough word, to describe my feelings towards pop-ups.. Wouldn't visit a site containing those, more than once, I actually recently abandoned my favorite search-engine cause they added pop-ups on their mainpage (altavista).

If retailers/manufactures/developers have interesting sites with interesting quality products and knows how to get added to webcrawler, general searchengines DB's and links on relevant sites, the public will go visit them.. Then there's no need to kidnap/force users to visit their sites/see their adds, which is what I feel pop-ups do. Let the user him-/herself decide whether or not, to open another Iexplorer and visit another site.

Best regards

I don't mind them if they only pop up once, I hate the ones that keep reappearing everytime you move somewhere else on the site.

Popups are just about the best way to ensure I will not visit a site.

Jim, you're not considering what I'm afraid you're considering, are you? I would sure miss Ezone.

Popup Stopper

I use this: http://www.panicware.com/product_dpps.html

If I get to a site that has popups I activate it and it conveniently kills all the popup windows. Very handy.

I believe that you will find that popups will be met with uneven enthusiasm.

I don't mind banner ads across the top - I actually was wondering what happened to them? Bring them back, I like seeing who's sponsoring the 'zone.
Pop-ups? Not here, please..

I also like banner ads. In all honesty I never visit any kind of ads on any site except for the Ezone. I have visited every banner ad that you have at least once. Why? Because this is something that I am extremely interested in and I trust this site to have ads by the best companies in this hobby. So please tell anyone who advertises on the Ezone that ads are not only used here but also appreciated as well.
I agree with Andy bring back the banner ads!!

I never visit a site again after encountering a repeated pop-up situation. I find it frustrating, and it takes time to load content I don't want to see. I would be hard pressed to visit a site with such ads.

Please, DON'T DO IT! I dont' mind the ads at the top of the page. I sometimes visit that banner. Especially if I see something interesting in it.

I installed Popup Stopper on 2 computers, one with Win 95 and the other with Win 98 and have encountered one problem. Windows version of Soltaire will not work. I let Panicware know about this and they said that they would check into this. This program still is not to bad for freeware.

:( Please no pop-ups :(

They are awful. But, the banner ads are great, they also served as links when you forget the addressed of some e-flight vendors. Go banner ads! Down with the pop-ups! Just my .02
