So tell me again...why does Ted have the boat tied to the cleat on the pier? Because that's what the signs says to do?

Toes, I think very few us will get the humor there, you have to be more that a few years old.

Norgale-Years ago I used to watch on TV people in swamp vehicles running around mud courses somewhere, probably Florida, and they always talked about the Sippy hole, I guess a deep hole in the track that was really hard to get across. Just always remembered the name.

Good memory there 420Tee. It did come from the swamp buggy races held every year down here in Naples. The Sippy Hole was a deeper than normal hole full of water and mud where only the best buggys got through or maybe the luckyest ones.
Anyway one Mr. Morris seemed to get stuck in this hole way more often than anybody else. He was from Mississippi so they called him "Sippy" and since he spent more time in the hole than anyone else it became the "Sippy Hole".
Now there are mud races all over the place and in many countries so they all have to have a "Sippy Hole" somewhere in the track. Pretty messy business I tell ya. Pete

Interesting about the hole's name. I learned something today so now I can pop a cold one or two and forget about my continuing education. I imagine I saw that on Wide World of Sports, one of the really good long gone shows.

to no one's surprise those amphicars had rust problems...this would be a bad way to discover this tendency.
